The winners for the October 2024 AP Photo Contest are Maya Alleruzzo for News Photography Single Image, for her photo of Sara Chen weeping over the grave of her longtime friend who was killed on Oct. 7 2023, as Israel marked the one-year anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel.
