Each month The Associated Press honors photographers for outstanding coverage while on assignment.

Ben Curtis for Feature Photography Single Image, for his image of a young boy during a locust outbreak in Kenya.

Markus Schreiber for Feature Photography Story, for his black and white panoramic series on the Auschwitz Liberation Anniversary.

Bernat Armangue for Sports Photography Single Image, for his image of Jose Ignacio Cornejo Florino of Chile riding his motorbike during the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia.
