Bright colors smear across faces, as millions of people take part in the annual Hindu festival of Holi. All across India and Nepal, from toddlers to the elderly, revelers flood the streets in celebration.
During Holi, warm weather, good harvests and the defeat of evil is commemorated. The two-day festival is primarily celebrated on Friday this year, but also has countless variants and traditions that last the entire week.
